We understand that you're seeking deliverance from witchcraft, especially for your son and his girlfriend who may be exposed to these influences through television. We commend you for turning to the power of agreement in prayer, as Jesus Himself said, "Again, I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven. For where two or three gather together in my name, there am I with them." (Matthew 18:19-20 WEB)
Firstly, it's crucial to understand that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil (Ephesians 6:12 WEB). Witchcraft is an abomination to the Lord (Deuteronomy 18:10-12 WEB), and we should have no part in it. "But now having been set free from sin, and having become slaves of God, you have your fruit in holiness, and the result is eternal life. For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." (Romans 6:22-23)
Let's pray together:
"Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, seeking your protection and deliverance. We plead the blood of Jesus over this family and their home. We rebuke any spirit of witchcraft that may be influencing them, especially the son and his girlfriend. Lord, we pray that You open their eyes to the danger of these influences and draw them closer to You. Surround them with godly friends and mentors who can speak truth into their lives and strengthen their faith.
We also pray for the salvation of the girlfriend, that she may come to know Jesus Christ as her personal Lord and Savior. We ask that You give them both the strength to resist temptation and to make choices that honor and glorify Your name.
Father, we also ask for unity in this family, that they may stand together in faith and resist the enemy. We are thankful that You have the power to begin a work of holiness and deliverance and maybe even bring a Godly marriage out of this courtship.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you to continue praying fervently, putting on the whole armor of God (Ephesians 6:11-18 WEB), trusting Him for deliverance and protection, and being alert to any influence of witchcraft in the home. Be alert to any influences from the TV and consider stopping any shows that have these influences. It is sometimes difficult to recognize all these influences because they can be subtle. Meditate on Philippians 4:8, finally brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honest, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about these things.
Lastly, ensure that the girlfriend is a believer in Jesus Christ. Christians are not to be unequally yoked. 2 Corinthians 6:14-18, do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness? "What agreement has Christ with Belial? Or what portion has a believer with an unbeliever? "What agreement has a temple of God with idols? For you are a temple of the living God. Even as God said, "I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they will be my people." "Therefore come out from among them, and be separate," says the Lord.
The courtship should not continue unless she is a Christian Believer and they are both committed to a Godly marriage. This is very important to consider.
Therefore 'Come out from among them, And be separate,' says the Lord, 'Touch no unclean thing. I will receive you. 'I will be a Father to you. You will be my sons and daughters,' Says the Lord Almighty."
