We understand your concern for your mom and we are here to pray and seek God's will together with you. Firstly let us address the request for purification. Only the blood of Jesus Christ cleanses us from all sin. God's word in 1 John 1:7 WEB says "But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ, his Son, cleanses us from all sin." Therefore let us pray for her salvation, that she may believe in Jesus Christ and be cleansed, her heart purified by faith.
Let us pray:
Almighty God, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up the mother of this child. We pray that she may come to know you, that she may believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and be saved. We ask that the blood of Jesus Christ cleanses her from all sin and purifies her heart.
Concerning the abuse, God's word is clear that we should honor our parents, and likewise, parents are called to love and not provoke their children. Ephesians 6:4 WEB says "You fathers, don't provoke your children to wrath, but nurture them in the discipline and instruction of the Lord." God hates all forms of abuse and desires that we live in love and harmony.
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come against any spirit of abuse and we pray for deliverance. We pray for a change in her behavior, that she may treat others including her family lovingly and respectfully. We pray that she may be filled with the Holy Spirit and that the fruit of the Spirit, which is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control, will be evident in her life.
We also pray for you, that God will give you the strength and wisdom to handle this situation. We pray that you will be a light in your home, that you will honor and love your mother as God commands, and that you will also speak the truth in love.
Let us remember that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Acts 4:12 WEB says "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" Therefore, let us put our trust in Jesus Christ, believing in him and following his ways.
Lastly we want to encourage you to be patient. God's timing is not always our timing, and so we continue to trust in the Almighty God knowing that he hears our prayers and is at work in our lives and in the lives of our loved ones. Continue to trust in God's word, which tells us in Galatians 6:9 WEB "Don't be weary in doing good, for you will reap in due season, if you don't give up."
