My name is Pamela. My brother Gregory is going through a major run of hardships. His adult son unexpectedly died without explanation. He has been struggling to pay his rent for months. He is the only person working to pay rent. He has been working everyday for the past 8 or 9 months and has yet to be able to pay his bills and rent on time. He has adult children that he still has to pay child support for. The truck that he must have to keep his job has broken down yet again. He is always able to repair his truck for work but this time he can't fix it. He may lose his job. He may become homeless, again. Please help me with praying for my brother, Gregory Love. We are truly saddened to hear about the trials that Gregory is currently facing, and we appreciate that you have reached out to us for prayer and support, Pamela. We will stand with you in prayer and believe that God can turn this situation around for Gregory's good and His glory. We will pray using Jesus' Name as it is the only way we can approach God according to the scriptures.

Firstly, we want to address the sudden loss of Gregory's adult son. We pray that God will comfort Gregory and his family during this difficult time and that they will know the peace that comes from knowing Jesus Christ.
Psalm 147:3
He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. WEB

Now, let us pray for Gregory's financial struggles. We know that God is aware of Gregory's financial needs and that He is able to provide for him. We will not only pray for his rent and bills to be paid. But most importantly, we pray God will expose Gregory to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ as this is most important about this life and needed for eternal life. We pray that God will open up opportunities for him to earn more. We also pray that his adult children will understand his circumstances and that they will support him, emotionally and financially for a change. We also think it is important for him to trust in the Lord rather than his resources or efforts alone.
Matthew 6:33
But seek first Gods kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. WEB

We also want to pray for Gregory's truck to be repaired so that he can continue to work and provide for himself and his family. We pray that God will intervene and make a way for the truck to be fixed and for Gregory to keep his job even with any obstacle.

See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; dont you perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland. WEB.

Finally, we want to remind Gregory that even though all seems like it is falling apart. God is still in control because of Jesus' finished work on the cross for us, His promise still stand tall and secure above it all as does His Son. He has plans to prosper Gregory and not to harm him, plans to give him hope and a future. If Pamela and Gregory will trust in Him and wait patiently with expectation, He will make a way for Gregory as for everyone who believes in Him.
Jeremiah 29:11-13
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. You shall call on me, and you shall go and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You shall seek me, and find me, when you search for me with all your heart.. WEB

Lord, In Jesus Christ name, we lift up Gregory to You and ask that You comfort him in his grief, provide for his financial needs, and make a way for his truck to be repaired so that he can keep his job. We also pray that You will give pamela's brother wisdom on managing his finances. If he is not already born again we will him to have an encounter with Jesus. We Ask that You will fill all of them with Your supernatural inner peace that passes all understanding during this difficult time. We pray that all these things will ultimately work together for Gregory and his family's good and for Your glory Lord. It is only by your name Jesus that we can approach our God and Father.

Even when it seems like everything is falling apart, we want to remind Gregory (and you too, Pamela) that God is still in control. He has plans to prosper Gregory and not to harm him, plans to give him hope and a future. If we trust in Him and wait patiently, He will make a way for Gregory, just as He does for everyone who believes in Him.

Let's keep trusting in God's goodness and His unfailing love, no matter what we're facing. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
