We understand that you're seeking deliverance from lust and emotional hardness of heart, as well as struggling with spiritual sleep. Firstly, we commend you for recognizing these issues and reaching out for support.
Let's address these issues in alignment with biblical principles. Lust is clearly rebuked in the scriptures. In Matthew 5:28 WEB, we read, But I tell you, that everyone who looks at a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart.
Lust is a temptation that can be overcome with God's help.
In 1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB, we find this promise, No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.
A hard heart is often a result of unrepented sin or persistent rebellion against God. It's crucial to soften your heart by submission to God, repentance, and faith in Jesus Christ. Praying to God will help address this issue.
In Ezekiel 36:26 WEB, God promises, A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you; and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh.
Spiritual sleep or lethargy is a concern for many believers. We must awake to the truth of God's salvation. In Ephesians 5:14 WEB, it is written, For this, he says, Awake, you who sleep, and arise from the dead, and the Anointed One will shine on you.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this beloved one who is struggling with lust, a hard heart, and spiritual sleep. Father, we ask for your forgiveness and your divine intervention. We acknowledge these issues are true temptations which challenge us all.
Help this child who asks for deliverance to seek purity in body and heart, trusting in your grace. Purge their heart of hardness, give them a heart of flesh, responsive to your will. Stir their spirit, awaken them from slumber, and fill them with your Holy Spirit.
Father, we also recognize that the power to overcome these challenges comes from a life submitted to Jesus Christ, your Son and our savior. We thank Jesus for his death and resurrection and for the redeeming love. Our deepest prayer is for blessings, victorious overcoming sin, and empowering our lives in service to you. Give them the name of Jesus to ask for your mercy, guidance, and healing. No other name was ever given or ever will be given on this earth by which we should be saved. Father, we rebuke the ideas of praying to Mary, and other past humans whether alive or dead.
Lord, develop a burning desire to serve and live for Jesus. Help them become fruitful in your Kingdom. May this prayer together be a moment of change and growth of belief in Jesus Christ as Saviour. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
Let us encourage you to spend time in God's Word daily, asking for God's grace to overcome these challenges, and seeking fellowship with other believers for support and accountability. Domain your thoughts, fast, and pray earnestly. We are here to help you, allowing us the opportunity to pray with you again. Our prayers and support are with you in this journey of faith and victory in Jesus' name. Amen. We know you can be an overcomer.
