We join you, dear anonymous, in lifting your family to the throne of God. We acknowledge that every good gift comes down from the Father of lights (James 1:17, WEB), and we thank Him for another day with you and your family.
Let's bring your parents before the Lord, asking that He would be with them and bless the work of their hands. We pray that they would find favor at their jobs, as it is God who grants us the ability to produce wealth (Deuteronomy 8:18, WEB).
We also lift up your brothers before the Lord. We ask that God would guide and provide for them in their jobs and job search. We pray that He would give them wisdom and understanding in their classes, remembering that "if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him." (James 1:5, WEB)
For your sister, we ask God to help her in her studies and job search. We trust that God has a plan and a purpose for her, and we claim Jeremiah 29:11 (WEB) over her life: "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."
We appreciate your desire to walk in the Spirit, and we join you in praying against any demonic attacks or negative influences, including music. Remember, "Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about these things." (Philippians 4:8, WEB)
We encourage you to be intentional about the music you listen to, ensuring it glorifies God and aligns with biblical principles. Remember, "Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly; in all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your heart to the Lord." (Colossians 3:16, WEB)
Lastly, we notice that you did not mention the name of Jesus in your prayer. We encourage you to pray in the name of Jesus, as it is through Him that we have access to the Father. As it is written, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB), and "In that day you will ask in my name; and I don't say to you that I will pray to the Father for you, for the Father himself loves you, because you have loved me, and have believed that I came forth from God." (John 16:26-27, WEB)
Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother and his family. Meet their needs according to Your riches in glory. Deliver them from evil and draw them closer to You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
