We're here with you, sister, in this battle against these strongholds. It's courageous of you to acknowledge these areas in your life that need change. Let's lean on Jesus together, for He is our strength and our refuge.
In Matthew 11:28-30, Jesus says, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light." Let's take His yoke upon us, dear one. He promises rest, not condemnation.
For lying, remember that every time you feel tempted, you're not alone. Jesus is right there with you, helping you resist. As it says in Romans 6:12-13, "Do not offer any part of yourself to sin as an instrument of wickedness, but rather offer yourselves to God as those who have been brought from death to life; and offer every part of yourself to him as an instrument of righteousness. For sin shall no longer be your master, because you are not under the law, but under grace."
For manipulation, let's remember Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight." Let's trust Him with our lives, our relationships, and our circumstances.
And for entitlement, let's meditate on Philippians 4:11-12, "I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want."
Let's pray together, shall we? "Lord Jesus, we come before You today, laying down these strongholds of lying, manipulation, and entitlement. We ask for Your forgiveness and Your strength to overcome. Help us to walk in truth, submission, and contentment through Your power. In Your precious name, we pray. Amen."
