Heavenly Father,
We come before You on behalf of our dear friend who is facing challenges and attacks in their workplace and career. They feel stuck and unable to gain the promotion they deserve despite their level of expertise. Lord, we seek Your divine intervention to break these chains and bring forth opportunities for advancement.
Lord, Your Word in Psalm 107:14 assures us, "He brought them out of darkness, the utter darkness, and broke away their chains." We pray that You bring our friend out of this darkness and break the chains that are holding them back in their career. Remove any obstacles that stand in their way and grant them the breakthrough they need.
Father, we ask for Your guidance and favor. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight." We pray that our friend trusts in You fully, submitting their career and aspirations to Your will. Lead them on the path that You have prepared for them, making it straight and clear.
We also pray for wisdom and discernment. James 1:5 says, "If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you." Grant our friend the wisdom to navigate their work environment and make decisions that align with Your plans for their career. Give them discernment to recognize and overcome any attacks or challenges they face.
Lord, we seek Your favor upon their life and career. Psalm 90:17 declares, "May the favor of the Lord our God rest on us; establish the work of our hands for usβyes, establish the work of our hands." Establish the work of their hands, Lord, and let Your favor rest upon them, opening doors for promotion and advancement.
We pray for strength and perseverance. Isaiah 40:31 encourages us, "But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint." Renew their strength, Lord, and help them to soar above the challenges they face. Give them the endurance to keep moving forward, trusting in Your timing and provision.
Finally, we pray for Your peace to fill their heart. Philippians 4:6-7 says, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." May Your peace guard their heart and mind, alleviating any anxiety and bringing them hope and confidence.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
