Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the precious name of Your Son, Jesus Christ, lifting up Stephen in prayer. Lord, Stephen has confessed and repented of his sins, acknowledging his disobedience and the struggles he faces with backsliding, drugs, and drinking. Your Word tells us in 1 John 1:9, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." We stand on this promise today, believing in Your power to forgive and cleanse Stephen from all unrighteousness.
Father, we thank You for Stephen's heart of surrender and his desire for deliverance. We know that true freedom comes from You alone. As it is written in Romans 6:14, "For sin will not have dominion over you. For you are not under law, but under grace." We pray that Your grace would abound in Stephen's life, breaking the chains of addiction and leading him into a life of righteousness and peace.
Lord, we ask for Your Holy Spirit to fill Stephen, to guide him, and to strengthen him in his walk with You. As it is written in Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me." We believe that through Christ, Stephen can overcome these challenges and live a life that glorifies You.
We also pray for a community of believers to surround Stephen, to support him, and to hold him accountable in his journey of faith. Your Word in Proverbs 27:17 says, "Iron sharpens iron; so a man sharpens his friend's countenance." May Stephen find encouragement and strength through fellowship with other believers.
Lord, we thank You for hearing our prayers and for the work You are doing in Stephen's life. We trust in Your unfailing love and Your power to deliver and transform. We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
