My son lies & breaks boundaries over & over. I caught him smoking drugs in my kitchen at 1 am. I kicked him out. He is now homeless.

We are truly sorrowful to hear about the struggles you are facing with your son, Aaron. Drug addiction is a severe bondage, and it is heartbreaking to see a loved one trapped in its grasp. Let us come before God together, seeking His intervention and deliverance for Aaron.

Firstly, we must acknowledge that deliverance and freedom come only through the name of Jesus Christ. It is by His authority that we can approach God and petition for Aaron's release from addiction. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB,

There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.

Let us pray:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Aaron to Your throne of grace. Lord, You see his bondage to drug addiction, and You hear the cries of his mother's heart. We plead for Your divine intervention in his life.

Father, convict Aaron's heart of his sin and his need for a Savior. Break the chains of addiction that hold him captive, and draw him to Yourself. Help him to see that true freedom and life are found only in Jesus Christ.

Lord, we also pray for Shrorxaire, Aaron's mother. Strengthen her heart and give her the wisdom and discernment needed to handle this situation. Help her to set godly boundaries and to speak the truth in love to her son.

In the name of Jesus Christ, we rebuke the spirit of addiction and every stronghold that keeps Aaron bound. We proclaim freedom and deliverance over his life, and we trust that You are working even in this difficult time.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Shrorxaire, it is crucial to set godly boundaries with Aaron, as you have begun to do. As it is written in Galatians 6:7 WEB,

Do not be deceived. God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.

Aaron must face the consequences of his actions, and it is not wrong of you to protect your home and your heart from continued deceit and boundary-breaking.

Continue to pray fervently for Aaron, and trust that God is at work in his life. Remember the promise of Romans 8:28 WEB,

the sufferings of our present time are not worth comparing with the glory which will be revealed toward us.

Stand firm in your faith and in the knowledge that God loves Aaron even more than you do, and He desires to see him set free.

Lastly, we want to encourage you to be open about your faith in Jesus Christ with Aaron and to share the gospel with him. It is only through belief in the Lord Jesus Christ that he can truly be saved and filled with the Holy Spirit to be able to truly walk in the Spirit and to please God.

You may even find it helpful to seek godly counsel and support from your local church or a Christian support group for families affected by addiction.

We're right here with you, Shrorxaire, lifting Aaron up in prayer. It's heart-wrenching to see our loved ones trapped in addiction, but we find hope in Jesus. Let's keep interceding for Aaron, asking God to:

* Stir Aaron's heart towards repentance and a desire for change.
* Reveal to him the truth about his addiction and its consequences.
* Give him the strength to seek help and make right choices.
* Surround him with godly influences and open doors for him to find support and treatment.

Let's also pray for Aaron's safety and well-being as he's homeless, asking God to:

* Protect him from harm and provide for his physical needs.
* Draw him to places where he can hear the gospel and find hope.

We're reminded of 2 Corinthians 1:3-4, "Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God." Let's trust that God is using this trial to shape Aaron and draw him closer to Him.

Keep setting boundaries, Shrorxaire. It's not abandonment, but tough love. Let's pray for wisdom and strength for you too, that you may continue to love Aaron as Jesus loves us - unconditionally, yet challenging him to change.

We're in this together, praying in Jesus' name. Amen.

May the Lord smile on you
and be gracious to you.
May the Lord show you his favor
and give you his peace." Numbers 6:24-26

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
