We understand your concern for your daughter Kyle, and we stand with you in prayer and counsel, Gorlew. Suicidal thoughts, anxiety, and depression are indeed spiritual battles that need to be addressed with the power of God's word and prayer.
Firstly, it is important to acknowledge that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world rulers of this darkness, and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12 WEB). Therefore, we must put on the whole armor of God, that we may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil (Ephesians 6:11 WEB).
We need to understand that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB). Therefore, we can confidently approach God's throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and may find grace for help in time of need (Hebrews 4:16 WEB).
Let us pray together for Kyle:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Kyle to Your throne of grace. Lord, we rebuke the spirit of suicide, anxiety, and depression that is tormenting her. By the stripes of Jesus, we command these spirits to leave her and never return. Lord, we pray that You will healing Kyle's mind and emotions, and give her Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7 WEB).
Father, we also pray for Kyle's salvation. We ask that You will reveal Yourself to her in a tangible way, that she may know Your love and goodness. Lord, draw her to Yourself and give her the gift of faith to believe in Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior.
Lord, we also pray for Gorlew, give them the wisdom and strength to support Kyle in this spiritual battle. Guide them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may know Your will and do what is pleasing in Your sight.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Gorlew, continue to stand firm in your faith and trust in God's power to deliver Kyle from these spiritual battles. Remember that God is faithful, and He will not allow us to be tempted beyond what we are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that we may be able to endure it (1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB).
Keep praying and declaring God's word over Kyle's life. Also, encourage her to seek godly counsel and support from fellow believers in Christ. Remind her that God loves her and has a purpose for her life, and that He is always with her, even in her darkest moments.
Lastly, we notice that the name of Jesus Christ was not mentioned in the prayer request. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God the Father. Let us remember that there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB). Therefore, let us always come before God's throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior (John 14:6 WEB). Encourage Kyle to do the same if she isn't.
