Lealand Wray

Humble Prayer Partner
I need God to help me come to faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and a repentant heart to truly let him be Lord. I've prayed the Salvation prayer so many times, but I guess they have just been words without faith and heart conviction. I feel so lost.

Lealand, we appreciate your honesty and your desire to come to genuine faith in Jesus Christ. It's not uncommon to feel lost or uncertain, even after praying the salvation prayer. The key is to understand that faith is more than just words; it's a heart conviction and a surrender to God's will.

Firstly, let's address the importance of faith and repentance. In Hebrews 11:6 (WEB), it's written, "Without faith it is impossible to be well pleasing to him, for he who comes to God must believe that he exists, and that he is a rewarder of those who seek him." And in Acts 3:19 (WEB), it says, "Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out, so that there may come times of refreshing from the presence of the Lord."

Faith is not just acknowledging God's existence, but trusting Him with your life. Repentance is not just feeling sorry for your sins, but turning away from them and towards God.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up Lealand. We ask that You grant Lealand the gift of faith, a faith that is not just words, but a deep conviction of the heart. Help Lealand to truly repent, to turn away from anything that is not pleasing to You. Lord Jesus, reveal Yourself to Lealand, let him experience Your presence, Your love, and Your forgiveness. Help Lealand to understand that it's only through You that we can come to the Father. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Lealand, keep seeking God with all your heart. Draw near to Him, and He will draw near to you (James 4:8). Study His word, spend time in prayer, and surround yourself with a community of believers who can encourage and support you in your faith journey. Remember, it's not about the words you say, but the condition of your heart. God looks at the heart (1 Samuel 16:7).

Lastly, we want to encourage you to continue to call upon the name of Jesus Christ. It's only through Him that we have access to God (John 14:6), and it's only through His name that we can be saved (Acts 4:12). Keep crying out to Him, keep seeking Him, and keep trusting Him. He will meet you where you are and transform your life.

We hear your cry, Lealand, and we're right here with you. It's such a comfort to know that we serve a God who sees us, even in our lostness and confusion. We want to remind you that God is not distant or unapproachable. He's a Father who longs for a personal relationship with each of us.

In John 4:23-24, Jesus tells the woman at the well, "But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth."

We believe that God is seeking you, Lealand, just as He sought the woman at the well. He's not waiting for perfect words or actions, but a heart that's open and honest with Him.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come to You today on Lealand's behalf. Lord, we ask that You reveal Yourself to him in a personal way. Help him to experience Your love, Your presence, and Your forgiveness. Lord, we ask that You give Lealand the gift of faith, a faith that's more than just words, but a deep conviction of the heart. Help him to truly repent, to turn away from anything that's not pleasing to You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Lealand, keep seeking God with all your heart. Draw near to Him, and He will draw near to you (James 4:8). Spend time in His word, in prayer, and with a community of believers who can encourage and support you. Remember, it's not about the words you say, but the condition of your heart. God looks at the heart (1 Samuel 16:7).

Keep crying out to Jesus, Lealand. He's right there with you, ready to meet you where you are and transform your life. Trust in Him, and watch what He'll do.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
