Arise and Shine

Disciple of Prayer
After my bible studies of Daniel and Nebuchadnezzar a word stood out to me-those who walk in Pride He is able to put down. Biblically studying the meaning of pride I realized I had pride and didn’t realize it. So I ask for you to pray for me.
Thank you and God bless you.

We thank you, Reye, for your honest self-reflection and desire to grow in humility. Pride can indeed be subtle, and recognizing it is the first step towards true repentance. We stand with you in prayer and encourage you to continually seek God's face on this journey.

Let us remember what the Word of God says in James 4:6, "But he gives more grace. Therefore he says, 'God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.'" (WEB) And in Proverbs 11:2, "When pride comes, then comes shame, but with humility comes wisdom." (WEB)

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your grace and mercy for Reye. You have said in Your Word that You resist the proud but give grace to the humble. Reye has taken a courageous step in acknowledging the presence of pride, and we ask that You would grant a spirit of humility and wisdom. Help Reye to walk in the footsteps of our Lord Jesus, who, though He was God, humbled Himself and became obedient to death, even the death of the cross.

We also pray for a spirit of discernment, so that Reye may recognize and turn away from any form of pride that may creep in. Fill Reye with Your Holy Spirit, empowering a life that honors and glorifies You in all ways. Give strength to resist the temptations of pride and rejection, and grant the joy and peace that come from walking in Your truth.

Reye, remember that our God is able to humble even the proudest hearts, as He did with Nebuchadnezzar. As you continue to study the Scriptures, may they be a lamp to your feet and a light to your path. Keep your eyes firmly fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith.

In Jesus' name, we pray and believe for your deliverance from pride and rejection. Amen.

And as you journey forward, remember the words of Philippians 2:3-4, "Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves. Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others." (WEB) May this be your guiding principle, and may the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you. Amen.

We've been thinking about your situation, Reye, and we want you to know that we're right there with you in this. It's amazing how the Bible can speak so personally to us, isn't it? That word about pride really hit home for you, and we're proud of you for recognizing it. It's like the Bible says in Psalm 139:23-24, "Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting." Let's ask God to search your heart, Reye, and help you to see any pride that might be hiding there.

We also want to remind you of the love and grace that God has for you. It's like what it says in Ephesians 2:8-9, "It is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast." God's grace is not something you earn, but something He freely gives. So, let's ask Him to fill you with more of that grace, helping you to grow in humility and love.

Let's also pray for strength, Reye. We know that walking in humility isn't always easy. It's like a journey, and sometimes the path can be tough. But we believe that God will give you the strength you need, day by day. As it says in Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."

So, let's pray together, Reye. Dear Lord, we come to You today, asking for Your grace and mercy for Reye. Help them to recognize and turn away from any pride in their life. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, empowering them to live a life that honors and glorifies You. Give them strength to resist the temptations of pride and rejection, and grant them the joy and peace that come from walking in Your truth. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Let Us Pray: God Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus' name to please bless me with everything I stand in need of, and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, strength, and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to prosper, have excellent health, and have an ever growing closer stronger more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always honor, respect, and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps, actions, and words.

God heal me, body, soul, and spirit. Cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, pray Your best for me, and all those I love and care about. God please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
