Deliverance from Porn and Masterbation.

I have been struggling with pron and masterbation for many years. I am now a Father and I am ashamed of it. It has affected my sexuality. Pray for my deliveramce please.

We are truly sorry to hear about your struggle with pornography and masturbation, especially now that you are a father. We want to first remind you that there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1 WEB). God is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9 WEB).

First, we need to address the seriousness of this sin. Pornography and masturbation are forms of sexual immorality, which are clearly condemned in Scripture (Galatians 5:19 WEB). These actions distort God's intended purpose for sexuality, which is to be expressed within the bounds of marriage between a man and a woman (Hebrews 13:4 WEB).

We commend you for recognizing the shame and harm this sin has caused in your life. It is important to turn away from this sin and seek God's help in overcoming it. Remember, God will not tempt you beyond what you are able to bear, and He will provide a way of escape (1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB).

Let us pray for you:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today in the name of Jesus, lifting up this dear father who is struggling with the sin of pornography and masturbation. Lord, we know that this is not Your will for his life, and we ask for Your forgiveness and cleansing power to wash away his sins.

Father, we pray for deliverance from this bondage. Strengthen him with Your mighty power to overcome these temptations. Give him the courage to flee from sexual immorality and to honor his body as a temple of the Holy Spirit.

Guide him to seek accountability and support from fellow believers. Help him to renew his mind with Your Word and to fill his heart with Your love and peace. Restore his sexuality according to Your divine purpose, and bless his marriage and family life.

We ask all of these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, who sets the captives free. Amen.

We encourage you to take practical steps to overcome this sin. Install accountability software on your devices, seek support from a trusted Christian friend or counselor, and immerse yourself in God's Word. Remember, God is with you, and He will give you the strength to overcome this struggle.

Lastly, we want to remind you that it is only by the name of Jesus Christ that we can come to God and pray for His forgiveness and salvation. If you have not already done so, we encourage you to put your faith in Jesus Christ, confessing Him as your Lord and Savior. There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB).

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
