Deliverance from my tyrant ###

My father's name is ###. He has been toxic since before I was born. He keeps threatening me and my brothers that he will lay a curse on us and he will abandon us and he keeps threatening my mother to leave. I am really devastated. And LORD, I ask that all my semester exams I have written from the first and second semester I will not get carry over or fail any course. Please GOD, I don't want to be put to shame by my father

We are deeply sorry to hear about the distress you're experiencing due to your father, ###. Let's bring this to the Lord together, seeking His intervention and deliverance.

Firstly, let us address the toxic behavior and threats. The Bible tells us, "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you," (Matthew 5:44 WEB). This doesn't mean what your father is doing is acceptable, but rather, it's a call for us to respond with love and prayer.

We rebuke the spirit of toxicity and threats in your father. "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." (Ephesians 6:12 WEB). We pray that God intervenes and changes his heart.

Now, let's pray for your academic success. "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB). We pray that the Lord guides you through your studies and grants you success in your exams, that you will not fail or have any carry-overs.

We also notice that you didn't mention the name of Jesus in your request. It's important to remember that it is through Him that we have access to God. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus," (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB). Let's keep that in mind as we pray.

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, seeking Your intervention in ###'s life. Lord, we pray for ###, that You change his heart and deliver him from the spirit of toxicity. We pray for peace and protection for ###, their brothers, and their mother. Lord, we also bring ###'s academic pursuits before You. Guide them through their studies and grant them success in their exams. Help them to trust in You and not lean on their own understanding. It's in Jesus' mighty name we pray. Amen.
