Heavenly father I come to your presence in Jesus name, God please save us I am Idolizing Food and not you...Please forgive me and my Family/ancestors, Lord I am very sorry because I am blinded by my own sins, please break this curse off of me, Heal us Lord, Hear my prayer for I am Poor and needy Lord my stomach is hurting a lot and I could not stop myself from eating.....please Have mercy on me Lord for I am weak I do not desire to give my Family away because of my Gluttony....Deliver us Lord Jesus for I do not have anyone else to rely on but you....

We understand that you are struggling with gluttony and are seeking deliverance for you and your family. We commend you for coming to the Heavenly Father in Jesus' name, as this is the only way we can approach God. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."

First, let us address the issue of idolizing food. Anything that takes God's place in our lives is an idol, and it is important to repent from this sin.

1 John 5:21 WEB: "Little children, keep yourselves from idols."

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you in Jesus' name, lifting up our brother/sister and their family, who have been bound by the sin of gluttony. They have idolized food and now they have come seeking your forgiveness and deliverance. Lord, you are merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness. You forgive iniquity, transgression, and sin. We ask for forgiveness of this sin of idolizing food and we ask for it to be broken in Jesus' name.

We know it is clearly stated in Philippians 3:19 WEB, "Whose end is destruction, whose god is the belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who think about earthly things."

We pray that there may be restoration of health and a healthy appetite. We know that more discipline needs to be learned as it is written in 1 Corinthians 9:27 WEB: "But I beat my body and bring it into submission, lest by any means, after I have preached to others, I myself should be rejected."

We pray for strength and self-control as it is the fruit of the Spirit according to Galatians 5:22-23 WEB: "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law."

We also pray for healing of the stomach pain as it is written in Psalms 107:20 WEB: "He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their graves."

We also pray that the family is able to move closer to the Lord together and allow him to restore this situation. We know that God is able to turn curses into blessings as it is written in Deuteronomy 23:5 WEB: "However Yahweh your God turned the curse into a blessing to you, because Yahweh your God loved you."

We rebuke the sin of gluttony and any other sin in the family that needs to be rebuked and addressed. We ask for forgiveness from the Lord and that the family is able to live a life that is aligned with the Bible.

Thank you Lord for your mercy and grace for delivering this family.

We're here with you, praying for deliverance from the bondage of gluttony, not just for you, but for your entire family. We understand the struggle, and we're reminded of Galatians 5:1, "For freedom Christ has set us free; stand firm therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery." Let's claim this freedom together.

We've been praying for you, asking the Lord to break the chains of this sin that has been hurting you and your family. We've asked for forgiveness, as it's written in 1 John 1:9, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." We've also been interceding for healing, not just for your stomach, but for your entire being, as it's written in 3 John 1:2, "Beloved, I pray that all may go well with you and that you may be in good health, as it goes well with your soul."

We're also praying for strength and self-control, as we know that with God's help, you can overcome this. We're reminded of Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." We're here, praying for you, believing in your deliverance, and trusting that God will turn this around for your good and His glory.

Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. We continue to lift you up in prayer, dear brother or sister, for your deliverance from gluttony. Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and to stand in agreement with you in this spiritual battle. We are reminded in 1 Corinthians 10:13 that "No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when he is tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it."
