We understand your concern, Kadron, and we're here to intercede with you for David Mackey's deliverance from drugs and alcohol. We must remember that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12, WEB).
Firstly, we want to encourage you to continue praying and believing in the power of Jesus' name. It is only through Him that we can be saved and set free. As Acts 4:12 (WEB) tells us, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
Now, let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today in the mighty name of Jesus, pleading for David Mackey's freedom from the bondage of addiction. Lord, You tell us in 2 Corinthians 10:4-5 (WEB) that 'the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God for the throwing down of strongholds, throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ.' So, we take authority over these addictions and command them to leave David right now in Jesus' name.
Lord, please fill David with Your Holy Spirit. Give him the strength and courage to resist the temptations that come his way. Help him to draw near to You, for You have promised that if he does, You will draw near to him (James 4:8, WEB).
Father, we also lift up Kadron, who has been faithfully standing by her husband. Give her the peace that passes all understanding (Philippians 4:7, WEB) and the strength to continue supporting David through this journey.
We ask all these things in Jesus' powerful name. Amen."
Kadron, continue to stand firm in your faith. Remember, the effective, fervent prayer of a righteous person accomplishes much (James 5:16, WEB). Keep believing for David's complete deliverance.
