Deliverance from drug addiction

We stand with you, ###, in praying for your son ###'s deliverance from drug addiction. We are reminded of the power of prayer and the promise in Matthew 18:19 (WEB), "Again, I assure you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything they ask, it will be done for them by my Father who is in heaven."

Firstly, we want to address that the request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is by His name that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" Therefore, we will pray in Jesus' name, for it is in His authority that we can ask for healing and deliverance.

We also want to remind you of the importance of not only praying but also acting in line with God's will. If ### has not accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior, we encourage you to share the Good News with him, for "if you will confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9 WEB).

Now, let us pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ to lift up ###. Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention in his life. Please deliver him from the bondage of drug addiction and restore his mental health. Give him the strength to resist temptation and the courage to turn away from his harmful behaviors. Surround him with godly influences and open his heart to Your love and salvation. Guide ### with wisdom and discernment as they support and encourage ### in this journey towards healing and freedom. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Remember, ###, "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble" (Psalm 46:1 WEB). Keep trusting in Him, and continue to intercede for your son. We will be praying with you for ###'s complete restoration and salvation.
