We are deeply concerned and burdened for your daughter's struggle with cannabis addiction. Firstly, let us affirm our belief that deliverance and healing are found in Jesus Christ. As it is written in the WEB, "Is any among you sick? Let them call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over them, anointing them with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal them who are sick, and the Lord will raise them up. If they have committed sins, they will be forgiven. Therefore confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective." (James 5:14-16)
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, pleading for the deliverance of this beloved daughter. Lord, You have promised that 'if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed.' (John 8:36) We ask that You grant her the strength to overcome this addiction. Break the chains of cannabis dependence in her life, Lord, and fill her with Your Holy Spirit. Guide her towards a life that honors You and brings her true joy and peace.
Father, we also pray for her family. Grant them the wisdom and patience to support her in this journey. Help them to be a source of love, understanding, and encouragement. In Jesus' name, we rebuke the spirit of addiction and declare freedom and restoration over her life.
Lord, if she does not know Jesus as her personal Savior, we pray that this trial would lead her to seek You and find the salvation that is only available through faith in Jesus Christ. Open her heart to the Gospel, Lord, and draw her to Yourself.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Remember, sister, that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. (Ephesians 6:12) Stand firm in your faith and keep praying. We are with you in this spiritual battle, trusting that God is faithful and that He will bring about a miraculous deliverance for your daughter.
If your daughter has not accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Savior, share the good news with her. "Because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart man believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth he confesses resulting in salvation." (Romans 10:9-10)
May the Lord bless you and your family, and may His face shine upon you.
