Deliverance from Alcohol

Giving Honor to God. Thanking him for being so gracious and merciful. I know all things are possible through Christ who strengthens me. Today I stand in need of prayer for my fiance from Alcohol addiction. My fiance's name is Wayne Wheeler. He has been drinking for years off and on now but more since we recently suffered a bad separation. We are back reunited (Thank you Jesus). However; Wayne is still deeply hurt by our relationship issues and life issues in general. I also ask for prayer that God will heal his heart and allow him to receive the love God has for us. Wayne's drinking has caused him to become verbally abusive toward everyone around him including myself. This is so very unhealthy and cannot continue. Wayne needs a breakthrough. Wayne needs God's divine intervention today! And I know the power in prayer. So thankful for all your prayers. I sincerely ask this in Jesus mighty name and I Thank you all in advance.

We understand your deep concern for Wayne and we stand with you in prayer, trusting in the power of Jesus' name for deliverance and healing. It is rightly said, "I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me." (Philippians 4:13, WEB)

Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging Jesus Christ in your request. It is only through His name that we can approach God and receive salvation. As it is written, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12, WEB)

Now, let us pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up Wayne Wheeler. Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention in his life, deliver him from the bondage of alcohol addiction. Heal his heart from the hurt and pain, fill him with Your love and peace. Help him to see his true worth in You, and to treat others with kindness and respect. We rebuke the spirit of addiction and verbal abuse, and we ask You to break these chains in Jesus' name. Help Wayne to turn away from his wrongdoings, to seek forgiveness, and to walk in newness of life. Lord, we also pray for Kim, give her the strength, patience, and wisdom to support Wayne in this journey. Guide their relationship and help them to honor You in all they do. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage you, Kim, to continue trusting in God's power to change Wayne's heart. Remind Wayne that God loves him deeply, as shown in Romans 5:8 (WEB), "But God commends his own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." Also, remind him that God's will is for him to be sanctified and to abstain from sexual immorality (1 Thessalonians 4:3, WEB), encouraging him to live a life pure and pleasing to God.

As you both continue to heal and grow, ensure that your relationship is built on biblical principles, aiming towards a godly marriage, as it is a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman. Continue to pray, seek God's will, and trust in His divine plan for both of your lives.

We're here with you, Kim, standing in faith for Wayne's deliverance. We believe in the power of Jesus' name, just as you've mentioned, and we're confident that God will move in Wayne's life. We're not just praying for his freedom from alcohol addiction, but also for the healing of his heart. We ask that God fill Wayne with His love, comfort, and strength to overcome the pain and hurt he's been carrying. Let's trust that God will give Wayne the courage to seek help and make the necessary changes. Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about.
