We are truly heartbroken to hear about the struggles your son is facing, and we commend your love and dedication as a mother and grandmother raising your grandchildren. Let's come together to lift your son and your family in prayer.
Firstly, we want to remind you of the promises of God. In the Bible, God assures us that whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved. This includes deliverance from any form of bondage, including drugs and mental health challenges. As it is written in Romans 10:13, For, "Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved."
As Christians, we acknowledge the source of our strength. Let us pray for you and your son. In Ephesians 6:10-11, we are told Finally, be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. We need to be strong in the Lord, because he is our strength. The Bible tells us, if God is for us, who can be against us. (Romans 8:31) Therefore, we need to pray to Jesus Christ. We cannot pray to Mary for strength, which is not biblical, but rather should be praying to Jesus Christ. In John 14:13-14 Jesus says And whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it.
Let's pray for your son's deliverance and for God to grant you the strength to keep going.
Dear Lord Jesus Christ,
We come before You, lifting up this beloved son and his family to You. Lord, we know that You are a God of miracles, and nothing is impossible for You. Please, in Your great mercy, deliver this young man from the bondage of drugs and mental challenges. Set him free, Lord, and help him to find his identity and purpose in You.
Father, we also lift up this mother and grandmother. Grant her the strength and endurance to keep going, to raise her grandchildren in the fear and admonition of the Lord. Help her to find her hope and joy in You, Lord, even in the midst of these trials.
We pray for peace in their home and the restoration of their family. We believe in Your power to save, heal, and deliver.
In Jesus Christ precious name we pray, Amen.
Be encouraged, dear sister, for the effective, fervent prayer of a righteous person avails much. Keep trusting in the Lord, and He will renew your strength. As it is written in Isaiah 40:31, but those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint.
We encourage you to continue trusting in God, praying for your son, and encouraging him to do the same. He will be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. We encourage him to put on the armor of God, he will be stronger than the things he faces. One of the most powerful acts is to pray with others. Encourage your son to call on the name of Jesus Christ, and to seek God for Himself.
