Firstly, it is very important for your husband to recognize and repent from his abusive behavior. God's will for any familial relationship, especially marriage, is love, gentleness, kindness, service to God in Jesus Christ. Consider Ephesians 5:25 WEB: "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it." The way Christ has showed love to the church is the model Scripture gives us for how husbands should love their wives. In Ephesians 5:31 the WEB says: "For this cause a man will leave his father and mother, and will be joined to his wife. The two will become one flesh." In Jude 1:7 the WEB tells us: "Even as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities around them, having, in the same way as these, given themselves over to sexual immorality and gone after strange flesh, are set forth as an example, suffering the punishment of eternal fire." We must be clear. This is not God's will for marriage, especially.

We would also like to remind you of this word of wisdom in Ephesians 6:4 WEB Fathers, don't provoke your children to wrath, but nurture them in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.
Let's pray knowing that God is compassionate and that nothing can separate you and your husband from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord according to Romans 8:38-39 WEB:
For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Dear God, You see the distress and know the pain your daughter is going through. We intercede on your behalf as a congregation and ask God to deliver your husband from his anger, first in repentance through Jesus Christ our Lord, faith in God, and forgiveness. We pray for the safety of you, your children and your family, similarly. We ask that he put on tender mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering, putting up with one another, and forgiving one another, according to Colossians 3:12-13. Father, we rebuke the spirit of malice and bitterness and pray for a spirit of forgiveness and love to prevail in his heart.
