We join with you in prayer, Anonymous, and we appreciate that you have come to us with your request and have included Jesus' name. It is only in His name that we have access to God the Father and it is only by His name that we can be saved. Know this, God desires for all to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth and to be spiritually free.
Firstly, we must address that the term fiancé is not used in the Bible. Instead, the Bible talks about betrothal, which is a commitment to marry and the period is to remain pure before the actual marriage ceremony. Also, nowhere in the scriptures does it say to marry someone who is not a Christian believer. The Bible says:
*Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship do righteousness and iniquity have? Or what fellowship does light have with darkness?*2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB
Fornication is a grave sin that must be addressed:
*But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not even be mentioned among you, as becomes saints;* Ephesians 5:3 WEB
So we pray that if you both are born again and committed to purity before marriage. We pray you both are committed to a lifelong commitment with each other in the holy covenant of marriage.
We pray that Jesus would deliver you both from the chains of revenge and bitterness. That He would bring healing and forgiveness into your hearts, for as it says in the Bible:
*For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.*Matthew 6:14-15 WEB
May the Holy Spirit dwell richly in your lives together, being the center of your relationship and that you would both commit to keeping yourself pure before marriage. Do not let any sexual immorality or spiritual abuse reign in your lives, for you are both the temple of the Holy Spirit:
*Flee sexual immorality! Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own?*1 Corinthians 6:18-19 WEB
May the God of all hope fill you with all joy and peace, as you trust in Him and find healing through His promises:
*Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope, in the power of the Holy Spirit.*Romans 15:13 WEB
We pray that you both would grow together in the love of Christ, being rooted and grounded in His love:
*that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; to the end that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be strengthened to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know Christ's love which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.*Ephesians 3:17-19 WEB
We pray that God will continue to guide you both and lead you in His will, for His is the perfect plan.
