We join you in lifting up this individual to the Lord, seeking His deliverance and provision. Addiction and uncontrolled anger are bonds that can be broken only through the power of Jesus Christ. We stand on the promise in Galatians 5:1, "Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, seeking Your intervention in this person's life. Lord, You are the Great Deliverer, and we ask that You set him free from all addictions and take away all his anger. Fill him with Your Holy Spirit, replacing anger with love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.
We also ask for Your provision. You are the God who provides jobs and homes. You are Jehovah Jireh, our provider. Help him find a godly, stable, and fulfilling job that will meet his needs and glorify Your name. Please provide a safe and comfortable place for him to live.
Give him the assurance of Your presence and remind him that You are always with him. In Jesus' name, we pray for complete deliverance, healing, and provision. Amen.
We encourage him to trust in the Lord with all his heart, in all his ways, to acknowledge Him, and He will direct his paths. In Proverbs 3:5-6, we read, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
Remember, it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"
Stand firm in faith, and trust that God is working in his life. Be encouraged by Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."
