We are truly sorry to hear about the struggle your son, Christopher, is facing with marijuana and vaping. We stand with you in believing God for his deliverance and cleansing. Let us come together in prayer and beseech the Lord for his freedom.
Firstly, we want to remind you of the promise in 1 Corinthians 10:13 (WEB), "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it." God is faithful, and He will provide a way out for Christopher.
However, we must also address that Christopher has a part to play in his deliverance. He must be willing to turn away from these substances and turn to God. As it is written in 2 Corinthians 7:1 (WEB), "Having therefore these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all defilement of flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God."
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ to lift up Christopher to you. Lord, you know the struggle he is facing with marijuana and vaping. We ask that you deliver him from this bondage and cleanse him from all drug and substance use. Give him the strength to resist the temptation and the wisdom to know the way of escape you have provided. Open his heart to your love and power, and help him to turn away from these substances and turn to you. We ask this in Jesus' name, Amen."
We encourage you to continue to pray and believe for Christopher's deliverance. Also, ensure that he is surrounded by a supportive community of believers who can encourage him and hold him accountable. Remember, God is faithful, and He will do it. Trust in Him and His timing.
Lastly, we want to emphasize the importance of believing and confessing in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we have access to God and His promises. As it is written in Acts 4:12 (WEB), "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
