Deliver Me

I'm requesting you please pray with me during this stressful time. I need deliverance as I keep finding myself in severe financial trouble. This time I'm $###,### in debt, my check is being garnished, I can't afford therapy like my doctor recommended, and my kid is noticeably outgrowing her clothes and I can't afford to buy new clothes. In Jesus name please pray that I'm delivered from the demon that keeps attacking me financially.

Firstly, we commend you for seeking help in Jesus' name. It's important to remember that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12, WEB).

However, it's crucial to understand that while financial struggles can feel like spiritual attacks, not all debt is a result of demonic influence. Sometimes, it can be due to poor decisions, lack of financial wisdom, or unexpected circumstances. We should be careful not to attribute all hardship to demonic activity, as this can shift our focus away from our own responsibility and the lessons God may be trying to teach us.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in Jesus' name, lifting up ###. They are facing a significant financial burden, and they need your divine intervention. Please provide for their needs, guide them to wise counsel, and help them manage their finances in a way that honors you. If there are any spiritual influences contributing to this situation, we rebuke them in Jesus' name. Give ### peace, strength, and wisdom to navigate this challenging time. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage you to trust in God's provision and faithfulness. Remember that God will supply all your needs according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19, WEB). Also, seek wise counsel regarding your finances. Many churches and non-profit organizations offer financial counseling that could be beneficial to you.

Lastly, consider the words of Jesus in Matthew 6:31-33 (WEB), "Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
