We stand with you in the mighty name of Jesus, interceding for your deliverance and protection. Firstly, we commend you for your heart attitude—not seeking curses on your enemy but rather remorse. This aligns with the spirit of the Gospel, where we are called to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us Matthew 5:44.
In times of trouble, we can trust in the Lord to be our fortress and deliverer. As David wrote in Psalm 59:1, "Deliver me from my enemies, my God. Set me on high from those who rise up against me." We pray this for you, that God would set you on high and deliver you from those who seek to harm you. Psalm 18:2-3 "Yahweh is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge; my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower."
Regarding the financial scam you faced, we pray that the Lord would restore what was taken from you. In Joel 2:25, God promises, "I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the great locust, the grasshopper, and the caterpillar, my great army, which I sent among you." We claim this promise for you, asking that God would restore sevenfold what was taken from you. 2 Corinthians 9:8 "God is able to make all grace abound to you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work."
We also pray for the lady who scammed you, asking that God would grant her remorse and convict her of her wrongdoing. Romans 2:4 "Or do you despise the riches of his goodness, forbearance, and patience, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance?" Our desire is that she would experience true repentance and turn from her ways.
Lastly, we encourage you to continue trusting in the Lord and seeking His will for your life. Though you may feel vulnerable as a pensioner, remember that God is your strength and provider. Psalm 68:5 "A father of the fatherless, and a defender of the widows, is God in his holy habitation."
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our brother who has been wronged. We ask that You would be his fortress and deliverer, setting him on high from those who rise against him. Restore to him sevenfold what was taken, Lord, and bring remorse to the one who wronged him. Lead her to true repentance, Father. We trust in Your goodness and faithfulness, knowing that You care for the vulnerable and will not forsake Your children. Guide our brother and give him peace, in Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
Be strong and courageous. Your trust in the Lord is the first step to seeing restoration and justice prevail.
