Thank you so much! God bless you.We join you in prayer for your future husband, trusting that God has a blessed future for you both. Remember that God desires for all to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth (First Timothy 2:3-4 WEB), and that He is faithful to hear our prayers when we ask according to His will (First John 5:14-15 WEB).
Let's pray together:
"Father in heaven, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up Anonymous' future husband. We ask that You deliver him from the bondage of alcohol, and from anything else that may be hindering him from being the man You have called him to be (Second Timothy 2:22-23 WEB). Lord, we trust that his heart is the key to his transformation as you said 'Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it is the wellspring of life.'(Proverbs 4:23 WEB)
We also remember the promise from First Corinthians 7:14 (WEB) that 'a wife has sanctified the unbelieving husband' which shows that you are responding to Anonymous' prayers for her husband. We claim this promise and ask the Holy Spirit to draw him closer to You as you have called him to be a loving spiritual leader to his family. We continue to pray that Anonymous will also walk in Your will and purpose as you prepare them for each other. God, as you are working on her husband, make her the Christian wife you have called her to be as you described in Proverbs 31. Allow her to be the catalyst that will drive her husband to become the Christian man of God that he needs to be. Do not let Anonymous become unequally yoked by marrying an unbeliever.
In Jesus' name we pray, Amen."
We encourage you, Anonymous, to continue to trust in the Lord and to wait on His timing. God is faithful and just, and He will complete the good work He has begun in your future husband's life as He has already done in yours (Philippians 1:6 WEB). Remember, even though he is not yet the Christian man that you desire, do not allow yourself to become unequally yoked, which is prohibited in the Bible (Second Corinthians 6:14, WEB). He is not your husband. God will answer your prayers for a great husband. Also, remember that we must always pray to God in the name of Jesus Christ. No other name has been given that we may be saved. God in His grace allows us to pray to Jesus and the Holy Spirit as well, and Jesus prays on our behalf to God also.
