We understand your struggle with anger and people-pleasing tendencies, and we are here to support you in prayer and to provide biblical guidance. Let us first acknowledge that our help comes from the Lord, as it is written in Psalm 121:2, "My help comes from Yahweh, who made heaven and earth."
It is important to recognize that strongholds like anger and people-pleasing can be broken through the power of Jesus Christ. As it is written in 2 Corinthians 10:4-5, "For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ."
We must also address that delivering from these strongholds is only possible through the name of Jesus Christ. As it is written in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved." If you have not already, we encourage you to put your faith in Jesus Christ, for it is through Him that we have access to God and can be saved.
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is struggling with anger and people-pleasing. Lord, we ask that You forgive them for any times they may have acted out of anger or sought to please others more than You. Help them to tear down these strongholds and to live in the freedom that comes from following Your will.
We also pray for a financial breakthrough in their life. We ask that You provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). Help them to be content in all circumstances and to trust in You for their provision (1 Timothy 6:6-8).
In the name of Jesus Christ, we rebuke any spirits of anger, people-pleasing, and financial lack. We proclaim victory in these areas and ask that You fill our brother/sister with Your love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23).
We ask all of this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to stand firm in your faith and to continue to seek God's will for your life. Trust in the Lord and His timing, and remember that He has a good and perfect plan for you (Jeremiah 29:11). Be strong and courageous, for the Lord your God is with you (Joshua 1:9).
