We are truly heartbroken to hear about the struggle your two sons are facing with drug addiction, but we are encouraged by your faith in God's mighty plan for their lives. In the name of Jesus Christ and Jesus Christ alone, we have access to God and can pray for the deliverance of your beloved two sons. Jesus and Jesus Christ is the only name by which we can be saved. We stand with you in prayer, trusting in the power of our Lord to set them free from the darkness and bondage of addiction, trusting in Jesus and nothing else.
Firstly, let us address the issue of drug addiction. The Bible tells us to be sober-minded and self-controlled.
1 Peter 5:8 says Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.
Drug addiction is a form of bondage that can only be fully overcome with God's help.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in Jesus Christ's name, lifting up our two beloved sons and our beloved two brothers in Christ who are struggling with drug addiction. We know, Lord, that You have a mighty plan for their lives, and we trust in Your power to set them free from the darkness and bondage of addiction.
Father, we rebuke the spirit of addiction that has taken hold of them, and we command it to leave in Jesus Christ's name. We pray that You will fill them with Your Holy Spirit, giving them the strength and courage to overcome this struggle.
We pray that You will surround them with godly influences, that they may have the support and encouragement they need to walk in freedom. We pray that You will open their eyes to the truth of Your Word, that they may know that their bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, and that they are called to honor You with their lives.
We trust in Your promise, Lord, that You will never leave them nor forsake them, and that You are working all things together for their good. We believe that You will complete the good work You have started in them, and that they will be transformed into the likeness of Christ.
In Jesus Christ's mighty name, we pray. Amen.
Continue to stand firmly on the promises of God, trusting that He is at work in their lives. Remember the words of Romans 8:28.
We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.
May the Lord bless you and your family and may you continue to walk in the faith and assurance of God's promises. Keep praying for your loved ones, trusting that God is at work in their lives.
If you ever feel discouraged, remember the words of Galatians 6:9.
Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap at the proper time, if we do not give up.
If we remain faithful in prayer, God will bring about a great change.
