We understand your struggle and commend you for your desire to live a life pleasing to God. Remember, God's timing is perfect, and He has a plan for each of our lives. As it is written in Jeremiah 29:11, "‘For I know the plans that I have in mind for you,’ says Yahweh, ‘plans for peace, and not for evil, to give you hope and a future."
First, we want to address the issue of sin and temptation. It's clear that you're feeling convicted about masturbation, and it's affecting your relationship with God. We commend you for your honesty and your desire to please God. As it is written "marriage is to be held in honor among all, and the marriage bed is to be undefiled; for fornicators and adulterers, God will judge." (Hebrews 13:4).
Regarding your situation, we encourage you to strengthen your spirit with the word of God and prayer. "Watch and pray, that you don’t enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak." Mark 14:38.
You can find joy in the Lord and not rely on individuals to make you happy. "Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart." Psalm 37:4.
Now, let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up our sister in Christ. We thank You for Your faithfulness in her life and for Your promise to complete the good work You've started in her.
Father, we pray for her deliverance from this sin that so easily entangles. Strengthen her in her inner being by Your Spirit, that she may be able to stand against temptation. Help her to fix her eyes on You, the author and perfecter of her faith.
We pray for her future husband. Prepare his heart, Lord, and bring them together in Your perfect timing. We pray that their marriage would be a testament to Your faithfulness and a picture of Christ's love for the Church.
We also pray for her daughter. May she grow in the knowledge and love of You, Lord.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Remember, you are not alone in this struggle. God is with you, and He is faithful. Keep trusting in Him, and He will direct your paths.
No mention of Jesus or His name appears anywhere in your request. We pray and trust in God but it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time. (1 Timothy 2:5,6).
