We rejoice with you, Sherry-ann, for your promotion at work. It is wonderful to see God's favor in your life. However, we are aware of the challenges you're facing with negative feedback from other employees. Let's bring this before the Lord together.
Firstly, we remember the words of Ephesians 6:12, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." The negativity you're experiencing may be more than just mere human discontent, so let's address it spiritually.
Jesus teaches us in Matthew 5:44, "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, and pray for those who mistreat you," and in Romans 12:14, "Bless those who persecute you. Bless, and don’t curse." Therefore, let's pray for those who are giving you negative feedback, that God may soften their hearts and open their eyes to see the good in you.
However, we also acknowledge the need for God's protection and exposure of any schemes against you. In Psalm 91:4, God promises, "He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings, you will find refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart." We trust God to cover you and protect you from any harm.
Let us pray:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, thanking you for Sherry-ann's promotion. Lord, we ask for your divine covering upon her life. Expose and bring to nothing any works or schemes that are against her. Open the eyes of those who speak negatively, that they may see the truth and the good in Sherry-ann. Help her to respond with love and kindness, as your child, and to continue to be a light in her workplace. We ask this in Jesus' name, for it is by His name that we have access to you, and it is by His name that we are saved. Amen."
Sherry-ann, continue to stand firm in your faith and trust in God. He is faithful, and He will not let you be put to shame. Keep praying and committing your way to the Lord, and He will establish your steps (Proverbs 16:3).
