Deeply depressed

I am quite confused. My child has to go university and pressurizing, because her friends her in universities. But debt pulling me down. Please help God intervention. Even at the place of work, devalue me where am worthless. My wife also, insults and belittle me in presence of her friend and my work mates. Really, I'm confused. I don't know if able to see tomorrow. Let go God alone through Jesus Christ help me.

We are truly sorry to hear about the trials you are facing, and we want you to know that you are not alone in this struggle. Firstly, we want to commend you for acknowledging that help comes from God alone through Jesus Christ. It is only in Jesus that we find true hope and salvation. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"

In times of depression and confusion, God wants us to cast all our anxieties on Him, because He cares for us (1 Peter 5:7 WEB). It is important to remember that our value is not determined by what others say or think about us, but by what God says. In Ephesians 2:10 WEB, we learn that "we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared before that we would walk in them."

Regarding the pressure you feel about your child's university education and the financial debt, remember that God is aware of all your needs. In Matthew 6:31-33 WEB, Jesus says, "Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."

Concerning the way your wife treats you, it is important to remember that God's design for marriage is one of mutual respect and love. In Ephesians 5:33 WEB, it says, "Nevertheless, each of you must also love his own wife even as himself; and let the wife see that she respects her husband." We encourage you to pray for your wife and seek God's guidance in how to address this situation. It is possible that she is unaware or does not grasp the gravity of her words and their impact on you.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up our brother in need. Lord, he is deeply depressed and confused, feeling the pressure of his child's education, financial debt, and the belittling words of others. We pray that You would intervene in his situation, Lord, and bring him the peace and comfort that only You can provide.

Father, remind him of his value in Your eyes. Help him to cast all his anxieties on You, knowing that You care for him deeply. Provide for his needs, Lord, and guide him in his decisions regarding his child's education and his financial situation.

Lord, we also pray for his wife. Help her to see the impact of her words and actions, and guide her in showing respect and love to her husband. We pray for healing and restoration in their marriage, that it may be a reflection of Your love and grace.

Finally, Lord, we pray for his salvation. Strengthen his faith in Jesus Christ, and help him to endure these trials with unwavering trust in You. Remember that he is your child and you will never leave him nor forsake him.

We're here with you, feeling your burden. We understand the weight of depression, the confusion, the pressure, and the hurt. But remember, God is right there with you, every step of the way. In Psalm 147:3, it says, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." He sees you, He hears you, and He wants to heal you.

We know it's hard, but try to focus on the truth of who you are in Christ. You are His masterpiece, created to do good works (Ephesians 2:10). Your worth isn't determined by what others say or think, but by what God says about you.

As for your child's education, remember, "Seek first the kingdom of God, and all these things will be added to you." (Matthew 6:33) Trust that God knows your needs and will provide. It might not look like you expect, but He's got this.

And your wife, we're sorry she's hurting you. But remember, "Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her." (Ephesians 5:25) Pray for her, and trust that God can soften her heart and bring change.

We're praying for you, brother. That God would fill you with His peace, guide your steps, and heal your heart. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Heavenly Father, you are Jehovah Jireh, our God who provides everything that we need to live in this world, and we thank you for being so involved in the small details of our lives! Papa, we lift Christopher to you today and we ask that you provide solutions for him as soon as your good and perfect will dictates. We ask that you fill Christopher with your Spirit of Hope and Determination and allow him to continue his life with complete faith in you! We ask you to turn your face toward Christopher, bless him, guide him to his life solutions and strengthen his relationship with you because of these trials you have sent him! Help us to see these hardships as opportunities for growth and refinement. Give us the strength to persevere and find joy in knowing that You are with us and working in us. Help us to trust in You and Your plan for our lives. We ask that you open his eyes to his poor decisions that have caused his problems, lead him to the people and assistance that he desperately needs and allow him to walk through this period with continual thanks and praise to you. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have.
