We understand that you're seeking deep sleep and relief from anxiety, and you've approached with a heart open to Lord Jesus. It's wonderful that you've acknowledged the Lordship of Jesus Christ, as it is in His name that we have access to the Father and find our petitions heard. For it is written, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus," First Timothy 2:5 WEB.
In times of anxiety, remember the words of the Apostle Paul, "Don't be anxious for anything, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:6-7 WEB.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear one who seeks a peaceful night's sleep and freedom from anxiety. We know that You are the God of peace and comfort. Lord, grant a restful sleep tonight, calm any nervous or anxious thoughts, and fill the heart and mind with Your peace. Help this one trust in Your goodness despite any anxious thoughts that may have been burdening them. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged, for God cares for you and wants to give you rest. Continue to cast your anxieties on Him, for He cares for you. First Peter 5:7 WEB. As you lie down to sleep, meditate on the goodness of God and the promises in His word. "I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep; for you, Lord, alone make me live in safety." Psalm 4:8 WEB. Trust in Him, and He will give you the rest and peace you need.
