DECLARATION OF DAY OF EMERGENCY PRAYER FOR CORONAVIRUS TODAY, SUN 3/15 by PRESIDENT DONALD JOHN TRUMP — INVITING ANYONE & EVERYONE TO JOIN

Late Friday, after declaring a national emergency over the COVID-19 pandemic, President Donald Trump declared Sunday a National Day of Prayer.

"It is my great honor to declare Sunday, March 15th as a National Day of Prayer," the President tweeted. "We are a Country that, throughout our history, has looked to God for protection and strength in times like these....

The President also tweeted, "....No matter where you may be, I encourage you to turn towards prayer in an act of faith."

Earlier on Friday, officials with the Southern Baptist Convention had also called for a day of prayer to be held this Sunday, asking everyone to pray for the coronavirus global pandemic.

In a statement, the Great Commission Council of the SBC is asking all Southern Baptists and their 47,500 churches to set aside a time of prayer Sunday to pray about the pandemic, President Trump and other leaders, and for wisdom in the face of fear.

The council asked for all to pray on these points:

Ask God, in His mercy, to stop this pandemic and save lives—not only in our communities but around the world, particularly in places that are unequipped medically to deal with the virus. (Isaiah 59:1-2)
Pray for President Donald Trump and other government leaders—international, federal, state, and local—to have the wisdom to direct us in the best courses of action for prevention and care. (Romans 13:1–4)
Scripture says—teach us to number our days carefully so that we may develop wisdom in our hearts. Pray that the Lord will give us wisdom in this moment of fear as the foundations of what we know are shaken, that others would realize how fragile life is and how real eternity is, and they would see their need to turn to God. (Psalm 90:12)
The statement was signed by all 14 members of the council.

Thank you in Jesus’ Name

Father, thank You a king’s heart is as channels of water in the hands of The Lord, turning it in whatever direction You desire (Prov 21:1). Thank You for bringing Him to bring it to our nation’s attention. May many people bring it to their local church’s attention, and may believers around the world pray for this plague to be stopped. I ask for the removal of roadblocks to the cures that already exist and for the rapid fast-tracking of the abundant vaccines to be released to our planet, Earth. Remember the world which You so loved, You gave Your Only Begotten Son, Jesus, that those who believe in Him may not perish, but have ever-lasting life (John 3:16). In Jesus’ Name we pray, Amen.

“The king’s heart is like channels of water in the hand of the LORD; He turns it wherever He wishes.”
‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭21:1‬

““For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.”
‭‭John‬ ‭3:16‬ ‭

Let Us All Continue To Pray: God I ask You in Jesus’ name have mercy upon us. God shine through us giving us wisdom, healing, and direction for our Nation and every Nation that has been affected by the Coronavirus. Spare Your people, O Lord. Let every string of the Coronavirus die at the roots, be dissipated, banished, and do no more harm. Let the coronavirus be shattered by the power of the Holy Spirit. God continue to place a hedge of protection and a wall of fire all around Your children. God protect and strengthen our immune system. Protect our lungs and keep us safe and healthy. God raise up in the Body of Christ the righteous prayer warriors to pray and intercede for our spiritual family that falls into the higher risk categories of contracting this virus and perishing from it. Let us not fear, nor worry, but continue to come to You daily God praying and crying out for mercy, healing, wisdom, and knowledge on how to battle this threat. Thank You Jesus. Amen.

This is not a “one click” prayer then go about our day. Let’s set aside significant time today to pray, petition, thank God for our strengths, and humbly confess our weaknesses (abortion, division, the influx of new age and occult, the influx of false religions, immorality, drugs, alcohol, and general apostasy as a nation. We confess our sins and the sins of our nation according to Daniel Chapter 9 and may You grant a tremendous response as You did throughout The Book of Judges when the people were afflicted because of their sin. Forgive our sin and heal our land as we humble ourselves, pray, fast and turn from our wicked ways, in Jesus’ Name.

“Then the LORD appeared to Solomon at night and said to him, “I have heard your prayer and have chosen this place for Myself as a house of sacrifice. If I shut up the heavens so that there is no rain, or if I command the locust to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among My people, and My people who are called by My name humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”
‭‭2 Chronicles‬ ‭7:12-14‬ ‭

2 Chronicles 7:12,14: Then the Lord appeared to Solomon by night, and said to him… if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

Let Us Pray: God I ask in Jesus' name place a hedge of protection and a wall of fire all around those who are 60 years or older and all those who are at a higher risk of contracting coronavirus and not recovering from it. Keep them protected, safe, and healthy. Cover and protect all Your children from the coronavirus. Thank You God. Thank You Jesus. Amen!
