Let us remind you of what the WEB says in Ephesians 4:26-27, Be angry, yet do not sin. Do not let the sun go down on your wrath, and do not give place to the devil. And in Colossians 3:9-10, Do not lie to one another, seeing that you have put off the old man with his doings, and have put on the new man, who is being renewed in knowledge after the image of his Creator.
Moreover, video game addiction is a modern-day idol that can consume our time, energy, and focus, drawing us away from God and our loved ones. It is crucial to address this issue with urgency and godly wisdom.
We also need to acknowledge the importance of Jesus Christ as our mediator and Savior. It is only through His name that we can approach God the Father and seek help and forgiveness. As it is written in John 14:6, Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And in Acts 4:12, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.
Let us pray together for ###:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up ### and his family before Your throne of grace. Lord, we acknowledge that ### has lost his way and is struggling with anger, deceit, and addiction. We plead Your forgiveness upon his life and ask that You break the chains of bondage that have held him captive.
Father, we pray that You fill ### with Your Holy Spirit, renewing his mind and transforming his heart. Replace his anger with Your love, and help him to walk in truth and righteousness. Lord, we ask that You restore his relationship with his wife and family, and draw him closer to You.
We also pray for ###'s wife and family, asking that You grant them patience, wisdom, and love as they support him during this difficult time. Help them to be a light in his life, pointing him towards You.
Lord, we thank You for Your unfailing love and mercy, and we trust that You will hear our prayers and intervene in ###'s life. We ask all these things in the precious name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.
