We understand that you're feeling overwhelmed by debt, and it's important to remember that God cares about every aspect of our lives, including our finances. First, we want to encourage you with these words from the World English Bible Matthew 6:24-25, 33-34:
No man can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other; or else he will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and Mammon. Therefore, I tell you, don't be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing? But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don't be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day's own evil is sufficient.
It's crucial to seek God's guidance and wisdom in managing your finances. The burden of debt can feel overwhelming, but God can provide a way out. Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up this person who is burdened by debt. We ask for Your wisdom and guidance in their financial situation. Help them to trust in You and not be anxious about their needs. Provide them with the resources and opportunities to pay off their debts and manage their finances wisely.
We also pray for their spiritual growth. Help them to seek You first and Your righteousness, knowing that all other things will be added to them. Give them the strength to resist the temptation to serve money, but to serve You wholeheartedly.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Remember, God is faithful, and He will provide a way out of your financial struggles. Trust in Him, and He will direct your paths being faithful in your tithes and offerings. Do not rob God from the support of His ministries and the poor. Seek God's will in all things and obey His voice.
