We understand that you are seeking freedom from debts, and we are here to pray with you and provide biblical guidance. First, we want to assure you that God cares about every aspect of your life, including your finances.
In the Bible, God's Word encourages us to be responsible with our finances and to trust Him to provide for our needs. As it is written in Matthew 6:25-34 WEB:
Therefore I tell you, don’t be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don’t sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you of much more value than they? Which of you, by being anxious, can add one moment to his lifespan? Why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow. They don’t toil, neither do they spin, yet I tell you that even Solomon in all his glory was not dressed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today exists, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, won’t he much more clothe you, you of little faith? Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don’t be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day’s own evil is sufficient.
While God promises to provide for our needs, it's also important to manage our finances wisely. If you are in debt, consider the principles outlined in Romans 13:8 WEB:
Owe no one anything, except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law.
To practically apply this, create a budget, live within your means, and work diligently to pay off your debts. As you do this, trust God to provide for your needs and guide your steps. Remember Jesus sees us through difficult times that could include a miraculous answer, using others to help, or simply working hard in the natural. We should be open to his will and not insist on a particular answer.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up Maleyrunwell, who is seeking freedom from debts and we thank you that this request was made in Jesus' name. Lord, we ask for Your wisdom and guidance in managing finances. Help Maleyrunwell to create a budget, live within their means, and work diligently to pay off their debts. Provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory. Give them peace and contentment, knowing that You are their provider.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
