Methoki, we hear your cry for help and stand with you in prayer against the burden of debt that seems to be multiplying in your life. We believe that God is concerned about every aspect of our lives, including our finances. Let us first hold onto God's promise in Isaiah 41:10 (WEB), "Donโt be afraid, for I am with you. Donโt be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."
However, we want to encourage you to examine the root cause of the debts. While it may not necessarily be an evil power, it could be due to overspending, lack of budgeting, or other financial mismanagement. Proverbs 21:5 (WEB) tells us, "The plans of the diligent surely lead to profit; and everyone who is hasty surely rushes to poverty." Therefore, we advise you to seek godly counsel regarding managing your finances and setting a budget.
Let us also address your prayer to God. We noticed that you didn't mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is important to know that it is through Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" Therefore, we pray for you in Jesus' name and encourage you to do the same.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ to lift up Methoki. Lord, you know the burden of debt that they are carrying. We ask for your divine intervention in their financial situation. Please guide them to godly counselors who can help them manage their finances wisely. We rebuke any spirit of poverty and mismanagement, and we ask that you provide for all their needs according to your riches in glory. Help them to be responsible with their finances, and as they honor you, may you also honor them. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Remember, God cares about your every need, and He is able to provide for you. Trust in Him, and He will direct your paths.
