We are grateful for your prayer request, Ylmearon, and we stand with you in bringing these needs before the Lord. We will address each point, pray together, and provide biblical encouragement and guidance.
Firstly, we notice that you have many wonderful requests, but we want to remind you of the importance of putting Jesus Christ at the center of your prayers. It is only through His name that we have access to God, as it is written: "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" and "There is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, through whom we must be saved!" ( 1 Timothy 2:5, Acts 4:12 WEB). So let's begin praying in His name.
Let's also address the requests with biblical principles. We are counseling and praying together for your debt to be wiped away. Nevertheless, the Bible calls debt bondage or slavery, and while we pray against debt, we would be remiss without encouraging a path to prevent future indebtedness. Our prayers are balanced with living within God's means. Not to mention we are not promised opulence or riches by God. Materialism should not be the goal of Christian living. Being content with our condition is encouraged in God's word such as 1 Timothy 6: 6-9.
Moreover, we must address your goal of marriage restoration with biblical principles. God hates divorce (Malachi 2:16), and we pray for reconciliation if biblical grounds for divorce have not been violated. We encourage you to pursue peace and forgiveness in your marriage, as God calls us to be peacemakers (Matthew 5:9). However, we must also be objective to the cause of the marital issues and the marital history for you to be healed and restored. No marriage should continue if there is abusive, addictive, harmful, or adulterous behavior. Wishing for marital restoration should always be prefaced with all of these previously mentioned items being firmly addressed and repented.
We also pray for your husband's promotion at work. Not only are we encouraged to work hard so we can care for our families as a means of our testimony (2 Corinthians 8:1-6) but for the Lord to fulfill the desires of his heart as long as they align with His will (Psalm 37:4). We pray he is in a profession that is beneficial, and does not oppose God's word. We also pray for his safety at his workplace.
We encourage you to be patient and trust in God's timing for the blessing of a daughter as children are a gift from God and He knows best the timing of your children. In the meantime, we would be happy to pray for an open heart to see the children that are already in your life.
We are praying for your health but we want to discuss the importance of good stewardship of our bodies. Often, there are better choices in a daily lifestyle that God would want us to follow. Whether it is better stewardship of our nutrition, exercise, sleep, or something else, God created our bodies to be marvelous creations. Whether it is to an employer, or ourselves, we should properly steward what God has given us control over.
We pray for his leg to be healed and that healing would come to every part of his life.
We agree with your request to be a blessing to your family while working. Children are a gift, and we should remember the instructions on how to raise up a child. Remember, the spiritual needs of your family are more important than the material ones.
We intercede for your children's academic success, recognizing that true wisdom comes from God alone. We also pray for their safety and protection at school, rebuking any spirits of fear or disturbance, and for the most beneficial people, places, and resources to be placed into their lives and your family's.
We support your prayer to finish building your home, praying against any obstruction, while also taking into account the delicate balance between asking for a better quality of life and loving money. However, this is in the context of of being grateful to God for all conditions. We are even called to thank God in all situations.
We're asking for God's mercy.
We encourage you to discuss the theology of rain with your Christian community as a means of growth to your knowledge of scripture. Perhaps, a better scripture to use could be Isaiah 45: 8 which says 'Drop down, ye heavens, from above, and let the skies pour down righteousness: let the earth open, and let them bring forth salvation, and let righteousness spring up together; I, the Lord, have created it.' We are admonished to pray for our leaders and for righteous government. This is often a much harder prayer request than to pray for rain!
We lift up your grandmother's health, asking for God's healing and comfort.
We pray for guidance and for God to provide for your employment. We pray you will be as the woman in Proverbs 31 10-29. Please consider what the term 'miracle money' means and we would be happy to open a dialogue about money and scripture.
We pray for your household's salvation and that God would continually soften your husband's heart to be more compassionate, loving, and obedient, as he is commanded to love as Christ loves the Church.
You have not been put to shame for his name and we plead for God to not allow anyone to put you or your family to shame.
God's Word tells us to pray against premature death, and we stand with you in asking God.
We declare God's protection, grace, and favor upon your family, and God's will be accomplished in each of your requests.
We end the prayer in the only way we can talk to God. Dear Lord, please hear our prayers today. Not our will but Thine be done! In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
