Heavenly Father please be with the families that lost loved ones during the storms yesterday and today. I read that ### people died in the tornadoes. Please be with and comfort these families and loved ones. Please calm the storms for those who are to get these storms. Watch over them Father. Thank you Father for all you do for us. We join you in lifting up the families who have lost loved ones due to the recent storms and tornadoes. It is heartbreaking to hear of such loss, and we trust that God will be their comfort and strength during this difficult time.

**Let us pray:**

Heavenly Father,

You are the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from You 2 Corinthians 1:3-4. We ask that You would be with the families who have lost loved ones in the storms. Comfort them, Lord, and wrap them in Your loving arms. Be their refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble Psalm 46:1.

We pray for Your peace to fill their hearts and minds. We ask that You would calm the storms and protect those who are still in their path. Watch over them, Father, and keep them safe.

We also pray for the recovery efforts, that You would guide and protect those who are working to restore and rebuild. Give them strength and endurance as they serve those in need.

Thank You, Father, for Your unfailing love and faithfulness. We know that You are sovereign over the storms, and that You care for each one of us. Help us to trust in You, no matter what circumstances we face.

He harnesses the power of creation for His own good to where back at Galilee He rebuked the wind for it to cease and it was so.
