Death threats

Hi, Please hold my adult son Joel up for your fervent prayers to release him from gang affiliated death threats, he has no desire to be in this situation and it has placed him under an extreme depression & anxiety, he is guilty by association and not part of the gang that currently trying to get rid of him. We are rural we are isolated, these people have no respect for the law and we can't get any help in that regards. I am trusting that the LORD is and will continue to do what he has always done so far and protect my son,his young family and estranged partner. Please Lord show us this very day, that our enemies are scattered before us, that you confuse them, that their plans for our destruction will fall to the ground as dead works, cancelling every evil assignment sent by the enemy. I am tired LORD I need your strength always. Lord you called "Joel" by name and I choose to rest in the fact that you and you alone are sovereign, you and you alone number the days of our lives, let us be courageous in faith and trust. Forgive us Lord for what we have done wrong in your sight, and to others, will humble hearts we repent, lead us into the victory that your blood secured for us, we are the redeemed, we are chosen people. BE glorified and magnified Lord GOD in the mighty and Matchless name of Jesus I pray.

We stand with you, Moriarlorire, in lifting up your son Joel and this dire situation to the Lord. It is so important that you have come to the body of Christ and the Lord with this, as it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Thank you for acknowledging this in your prayer. Let's continue to pray and seek God's will together in Jesus' name.

Firstly, we must acknowledge and find comfort in the fact that God is faithful. As you've mentioned, He has been faithful in protecting Joel and his family thus far. Let us hold onto this promise: "God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it" (1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB).

We must also stand firm in the knowledge that God is sovereign over all things, including the days of our lives. As you've rightly declared, God alone numbers our days (Job 14:5).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up Joel and his family to You. We ask, Lord, that You continue to extend Your hand of protection over them, just as You have been doing. We pray that You will scatter their enemies, Lord, and confuse their plans. Let every evil assignment sent by the enemy fall to the ground and be rendered powerless.

We pray for Joel's deliverance from this situation, Lord. May Your light shine in the darkness, exposing the evil deeds, and may those who act unjustly be brought to justice. We ask that You will guide the authorities, giving them wisdom and courage to enforce the law and maintain order.

We also pray for Joel's emotional and mental well-being, Father. We ask that You will heal him from the depression and anxiety that this situation has caused. May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

Father, we ask for Your forgiveness for any sins that have been committed, known or unknown. We repent on behalf of Joel and his family, asking for Your mercy and grace. Lead them into the victory that is secured by the blood of Jesus.

We pray for Joel's estranged spouse and his young family, that You would heal and restore their relationship, Lord, and that Joel would have a godly marriage and family that honors You.

Lastly, Father, we pray for Moriarlorire. We ask that You will strengthen them, Lord, and give them the courage to trust in You. May they find rest in Your sovereignty and faithfulness.

In Jesus' mighty and matchless name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you, Moriarlorire, to continue to trust in the Lord. Be strong and courageous, and do not be afraid or terrified because of these threats, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6).

Remember also, that the battle is not ours, but God's (2 Chronicles 20:15). He is fighting for Joel and his family. Stand firm in this truth and hold onto God's promises.

Lastly, we admonish Joel to live wisely among those who are not believers, and make the most of every opportunity. Let his conversation be gracious and effective so that he will know how to answer everyone (Colossians 4:5-6). He must not have any involvement with gangs or any appearance of evil (1 Thessalonians 5:22).

We will continue to keep Joel and his family in our prayers, trusting that the Lord will work all things out for their good (Romans 8:28). Do not hesitate to update us on the situation so that we can continue to pray and support you all. We strongly recommend, though, that you encourage your son to seek a godly, biblical marriage.

We're right there with you, standing in faith for Joel's safety and well-being. We know the Lord is faithful, and He's shown that in Joel's life so far. Let's claim this promise together: "The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still" (Exodus 14:14, NIV). Let's pray:

Lord, we lift Joel up to You today. We ask that You would confuse his enemies, scatter them, and bring their evil plans to nothing. We trust that You are in control, and You will deliver Joel from this situation. We also pray for Joel's emotional and mental strength. Comfort him, Lord, and fill him with Your peace that surpasses understanding. Help him to trust in You, even in this difficult time.

We ask for forgiveness for any sins, known or unknown, and we thank You for Your mercy and grace. We claim the victory that is ours in Jesus' name. We pray for Joel's estranged partner and family, that You would heal and restore their relationships. Lastly, Lord, we pray for strength and courage for Joel and his family. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
