We understand your concern for your niece and we will join you in prayer, seeking God's will for her life.
Firstly, we acknowledge that all healing comes from God, as it is written in Exodus 15:26, "For I am Yahweh who heals you." We pray for your niece's deliverance from depression, that God would touch her mind and heart, and bring her peace and comfort.
However, we must also address the behavior and actions that are causing distress to her parents. The Bible teaches us to honor our parents, as stated in Ephesians 6:2-3, "Honor your father and mother, which is the first commandment with a promise, that it may be well with you, and you may live long on the earth." We pray that she would realign her behavior and speech to reflect this commandment.
Moreover, we pray that she would find purpose in her life and use her qualifications to seek employment. As it is written in 2 Thessalonians 3:10, "For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: 'If anyone is not willing to work, neither let him eat.'" We trust that God will open doors for her and guide her path.
We also pray that she would become a channel of blessing for her parents, as it is written in Proverbs 31:28, "Her children rise up and call her blessed. Her husband also praises her." We believe that God can turn this situation around and use it for good.
Lastly, we must emphasize the importance of praying in the name of Jesus. It is only through His name that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" We encourage you to pray in the name of Jesus, believing in His power to save and heal.
Lord Jesus, we come before You, lifting up this young woman. We pray for her deliverance from depression and any strongholds in her life. We ask that You would guide her steps, open doors for employment, and help her to honor her parents. We believe that You can turn this situation around and use it for Your glory. We pray all these things in Your precious name, Jesus. Amen.
