Dear Mother Mary, I have been unemployed for a year. Please guide me to land a job. I’m so depressed and disappointed with myself. Please hear my prayers!!!

We are truly sorry to hear about your unemployment and the disappointment you're experiencing. However, we would like to clarify that as a Christian prayer group, we believe that prayers should be directed to God the Father in the name of Jesus Christ, as taught in the Scriptures: "Whatever you ask in my name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in my name, I will do it." (John 14:13-14 WEB)

We encourage you to come boldly to the throne of grace, not through Mary or any other intermediary, but through Jesus Christ alone, as He is the way, the truth, and the life, and no one comes to the Father except through Him (John 14:6 WEB).

Let us pray together for you:

"Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who has been unemployed for a year. We ask that You guide them to the right job, one that will not only provide for their needs but also align with Your will for their life. We pray that You lift their spirits and fill them with Your peace, joy, and hope. In Jesus' name, we believe and trust that You will make a way where there seems to be no way. Amen."

Take heart, for God knows your needs and He cares for you. Remember the words of Jesus: "But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." (Matthew 6:33 WEB)

Keep trusting in the Lord, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB). Stay strong in your faith, and continue to pray and seek God's face. He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5 WEB).

Mary cannot help but the Lord Jesus can (read 1 Timothy 2:5, Romans 8 and Hebrews 7:25 for example which clearly spell out that Jesus is the one interceding for us and our only mediator).

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.
