In times of anxiety, we are reminded of God's peace that surpasses all understanding, as written in Philippians 4:6-7 WEB: "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
Lord, we lift up the emergency situation that called the doctor away. We pray for Your intervention and a swift resolution. We also pray for the OBGYN, her staff, Cerby, and his wife. Grant them all Your perfect peace, Lord. Help them to keep their minds stayed on You, trusting in Your sovereignty.
Cerby, we also encourage you to meditate on Isaiah 26:3 WEB: "You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on you; because he trusts in you."
Lord, we ask for Your favor upon them. Let the ultrasound be thorough and excellent, with swift and accurate results. We ask this in Jesus' name, amen.
