Dear Lord,
We come before you today with grateful hearts, thanking you for blessing us with a new day. We are especially grateful for the successful bypass surgery that dad underwent and for his safe return home yesterday. We acknowledge your hand in his recovery and we ask for your continued guidance and healing touch upon his body. Lord, we pray that you would strengthen dad each day, both physically and emotionally, so that he may experience a full and speedy recovery.
We also lift up mom to you, Lord. We ask that you grant her patience and understanding as she cares for dad during this time. May you fill her heart with love and compassion, enabling her to support and assist dad in every way possible. Help them to navigate this season of healing together, united in love and grace.
Lord, we ask for your presence to be with our family each day. Remind us to cherish every moment and to show kindness to one another. May we be a source of encouragement and support, lifting each other up in prayer and extending acts of kindness and love. Help us to be mindful of the preciousness of life and to appreciate the blessings you have bestowed upon us.
We thank you, Lord, for hearing our prayer and for your faithfulness in answering. We trust in your perfect timing and your unfailing love. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
