We understand that you are going through a dark and challenging time, feeling lost, devastated, and broken. We are here to pray with you and encourage you in the Lord.
Firstly, we want to acknowledge that you have done well by asking for forgiveness and mercy, and by asking in Jesus' name. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ and by Jesus' authority that we have access to God. It is by His name and by His blood shed on the cross for our sins that we have forgiveness and are saved. Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12
We appreciate your honesty with God about your needs. That is what God desires. The Bible tells us in 1 John 1:9, If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Also, the Bible tells us in 1 Peter 5:7, Cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you. Casting all your care upon him; for he cares for you.
In your pain and brokenness, remember that God is close to you. In Psalm 34:18, WEB it says, Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit.
Regarding your job and house, we encourage you to trust in God's provision. Jesus tells us in Matthew 6:26, Look at the birds of the sky: they don't sow, nor do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they?
We pray for your faith to be strengthened during this challenging time. We ask that your relationship with the Lord will deepen, and that you will know His love and presence in a tangible way.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up our brother/sister in need of Your divine intervention. Lord, they feel lost, devastated, and broken, surrounded by darkness. But we know that You are light, and in You, there is no darkness at all. We pray that Your light will shine upon them, guiding their path and restoring their hope.
Father, they have confessed their sins and asked for Your forgiveness and mercy. We claim the promise of 1 John 1:9, that You are faithful and just to forgive their sins and cleanse them from all unrighteousness.
Lord, they are facing the risk of losing their job and home, and are concerned about providing for their family. We pray that You will provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory. Open the doors to a safe and stable job, and grant them a home where their children and family can be safe and secure.
In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
