Dear lord show me your way instead ...

Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother ###. Lord, he seeks Your guidance and desires to follow Your way instead of his own. Your Word says in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight." We pray that You would grant ### the wisdom and discernment to trust in You fully and to submit his ways to Your divine will.
Lord, show him the path You have set before him. Help him to lay aside his own plans and ambitions, and to embrace Your perfect plan for his life. As Psalm 25:4-5 says, "Show me Your ways, Lord, teach me Your paths. Guide me in Your truth and teach me, for You are God my Savior, and my hope is in You all day long." May these words be the cry of his heart.
We ask that You fill him with the Holy Spirit, guiding him in every decision and step he takes. May he experience Your peace, knowing that he is walking in Your will. Transform his heart and mind to align with Your purposes, and let him find joy and fulfillment in following You.

If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
