Lorraine W, we are truly saddened to hear about the pain and exclusion you are feeling from your family's actions. Let us come together in prayer and seek God's will for your situation.
Firstly, we must remember that God calls us to forgiveness and understanding, even in difficult circumstances. Ephesians 4:32 tells us, "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you." It is important to communicate your feelings honestly and calmly, seeking resolution and not retaliation.
However, it is also crucial to address the deceit and lack of accountability in your family. Proverbs 12:22 states, "Lying lips are an abomination to Yahweh, but those who do the truth are his delight." It is not acceptable for them to lie and avoid responsibility for their actions. We encourage you to confront this issue with love and a desire for reconciliation, but also with a firm stand for truth.
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up Lorraine W. She is hurting, feeling excluded and unwanted by her family. Lord, we ask that You comfort her heart and give her the strength to forgive those who have wronged her. We also ask that You reveal the truth to her husband and mother-in-law, and that they would take responsibility for their actions. Help them to understand the pain they have caused and to seek reconciliation with Lorraine.
We ask that You guide Lorraine's words and actions as she navigates this difficult situation. Help her to communicate honestly and calmly, seeking resolution and not retaliation. Remind her of her worth in Your eyes, that she is loved and cherished by You.
Lastly, Lord, we ask that You bring healing and restoration to Lorraine's family. Help them to grow stronger and more united through this trial. We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen."
Lorraine, remember that your worth is not defined by the actions of others, but by the love that God has for you. Psalm 139:13-14 tells us, "For you formed my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well." Trust in God's love for you and His plan for your life.
We also want to address that your prayer request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God. As Acts 4:12 tells us, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved." We encourage you to come to Jesus, believing in His death and resurrection, and receive the gift of eternal life.
