Dear Lord, please help my foolishness!

Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for all your love, kindness and patience with your wayward child here! I've renounced all the dangerous new age nonsense I've been steeped in for decades, and have been working with the Bible and listening to Christian videos in order to embrace Christian values, but stumbling and making stupid mistakes. Dear Lord, I'm not a child but an older woman, a grandmother, and should know better than to buy the grandchildren Halloween toys! and yet I got talked into it, and I really, really didn't think about the meaning of that dark ritual at the time. I've only just heard the Christian perspective on Halloween, and it makes me cringe at my own ignorance, naivety and enough foolishness to get involved in bad things. Forgive me, Father, please! I'm an old fool and have done so much damage to my own children and even grandchildren whom I love so much. In dear Jesus's name I ask you, Father, please help me to clean up my act, my mind, my heart, my head, my body, my house, my life, so that it is no longer a complete abomination to you, but so that my life can please you! And please help and heal my children and grandchildren in their bodies, minds and souls, it isn't their fault that their mom/grandma has been such a stupid idiot, I cannot really put it in any other way. Guide me, o great Redeemer! I know you are faithful, wise and merciful, and will not let me down - you bring me to my senses. Thank you, Lord, for being my God, my healer and counsellor, and for my redemption through the blood of Jesus on the cross. In Jesus' mighty name, Amen, Amen, Amen. Xx
