Humble Servant of All
Dear Lord, my wife wants to hurry our divorce up. She wants to sign the papers soon, she wants this issue resolved so that she can get away from me and begin her healing, as I’m the one stopping her from healing. She says my presence and the way I treat her is pushing her to the brink. I’m just here Lord. She said that I physically intimidated her and she is afraid of me. That is hurtful Lord, I’ve never once physically harmed her, even her reasoning for making her feel trapped I don’t understand, I stood at the entrance of the hallway where I entered, the furthest place from her. If I went either way it would have either blocked the actual way out or gotten closer to her. 20 years Lord I’ve never laid a hand on her, I’ve never cussed at her, I have barely yelled in a fight, but she says I yell all the time. Maybe she is right, but I never hear it and I know that’s what happens, but I’m usually telling myself to stay in neutral voice and or crying because this thing makes me extremely sensitive. I am losing my wife and only you can talk to her heart, but the loss of time with my kids is difficult. I love my kids, losing the chance to see them every moment I can is hard to fathom. Lord your will be done in this matter, help me to trust you and follow your guidance. My wife wants to hurry the divorce cause she says she is being pushed to her brink, she says I don’t care and that’s not true, I wish her no harm ever, but is that what I am supposed to do, give up? Let her hurry the divorce along and lose her and time with my kids, the ability to be a whole Christian family? I don’t know Lord, please give me peace about what I am supposed to do. You said to love my wife as myself, would I want myself going to the brink, based on another’s actions? My faith is in you, you know the truth of this situation will handled by you
